PUBLISHER'S NOTE
Hi, men, here we are at our 4th issue and I just found out that we are now going
monthly, beginning with this, our April edition! I want to thank all of you who
have bought BABE for your enthusiastic and continued support. It really thrills
me when I read the mail—all of you have given me so many great ideas for
articles and photo features. I'll do my best to keep up with your suggestions
and, if you don't see something that you asked for yet, don't feel bad—it's
probably in the works as I write this!
Anyway, in this issue I've done one thing you've been asking me to do—you'll
find me sunning on the beach with my new surfboard on page 44—and in the
next issue, cover dated May 1997, you'll see me hard at work taking care of my
publishing duties. So, guys, you've got two new photo sets of me to keep you company!
While it's great that you keep asking to see more of me, I'm sure you're going
to love all of my friends, too. In this issue, Jodie and her German Shepherd,
Rex, had us cracking up while we shot this splash-filled photo feature. It turned
out that Rex was a real ham and kept trying to get back in front of the camera!
Anita, now living in the Big Apple, is trying to land her first big Broadway show,
and I think she'll do it. Lina is a cutie pie with a fiery temperament which keeps
the guys flocking around her like bees to honey!
Amanda and Kelly are best friends who love to dress up in each other's clothes,
but once in a while, the feathers—and the fur—flies when they get
together.
Cybil's left Kansas for San Antonio, Texas and a laid-back job working on a great
dude ranch, while Karen's looking forward to college in L.A. where it's a lot
warmer than her hometown of Aspen!
