EDITOR'S PAGE
Now that we at Foxylady are well into the preparation of our third issue, I'd like to make you aware of some of our purposes in producing it.
Obviously, we have made Foxylady into an uninhibited perspective on male nudity and its effect on women. We may be flip and offbeat at times, or not as reverent about bodies as we are randy, but we do hope that all the implications of showing nudity also bring you laughter and enjoyment. Sex should never be so heavy that we can't have moments of fun in the sheer comic sense. We'll bring you the intense and exciting erotica that have been tailored to your more primitive fancies, but don't be surprised when we tease our latest find with some facetious copy. Enjoy!
You've probably wondered why a lover found some female nude photo particularly exciting when the model, to you, looked like some cold Nell Gwynn. And perhaps he's wondered why you found that well-built male nude somewhat boring, though the body's super.
His Inner Reasoning: That chick has great boobs, legs, and face. She's exciting!
Your Inner Reasoning: He looks like a fantastic stud but has no obvious personality.
Sound familiar? You've just discovered the Great Skin Screw-Up. Do you agree that men are more apt to concentrate on the purely physical appeals of the nude form than their female viewers? It's an interesting and endlessly debatable question, one about which I'd like to hear from you.
We think that Foxylady presents the composite man to better advantage than has been previously attempted. It's a magazine about men for women, and we think we echo that tone in truly masculine portraits. After all, you can see the beauty of your own female form at the twist of a neck, but here the focus is on the male alone.
Any mention of the liberation of sexual mores would be totally a cliche. I will say that it seems to prove there is an eternal quest for variety when men and women are still aroused by what appears on something as inanimate as paper. We're still children in this era of plastic automation, looking for something better when we should be satiated.
Foxylady, as I mentioned, should be regarded as a source of light entertainment as well as a source for timely and often provocative social and personal discussions. No doubt that current world issues and your own worries plague you at some time during your day. Foxylady hopes to provide some escapist fare for these moments. We can't minimize your woes, but we can at least be a brief substitute for them.
I hope that Foxylady is becoming a monthly mainstay to you. We're bringing you, in this issue, a montage of international features—some of which are so foreign that they're literally out of this world! (I'm speaking about our Astrological Birth Control.) I won't dwell on lengthy descriptions of what follows in these pages, I can just guarantee that you've never seen things quite like them.
Because no one knows a woman like we do.
