EDITORIAL NOTE
Last week, we received a letter here at Swank that we thought was pretty cool:
"Dear Editors, On the 23rd of this month, I became 18 years of age. The first
five things I did were as follows: I purchased a cigar, picked up my new custom
rifle from the gunsmith, registered to vote, signed up for selective service,
and bought the June '99 copy of Swank. I was so pleased to finally be able to
simply walk into a store and purchase a copy of your magazine without having a
hard time."
I don't know what he plans to do with that rifle, but we sure were happy to hear
that he likes us. Turning 18 is an exciting time for a guy—mostly because
