LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
Hello again!
Well, we're getting more mainstream, just like I promised.
One of the five largest distributors in the US just took Transformation for complete national distribution.
I've been trying to accomplish this for over two years although when I first tried to get one of them to distribute my magazine, I would get replys like: "We can't distribute such title", "There is no way we can distribute a magazine showing women with dicks", "Absolutely not, no one would want this kind of perversion in their retail store", and so on.
So, as most of you know I was persistant, I went around the big time distributors, I knew there was a place for Transformation in the mainstream stores, I flew all over the US talking to small distributors, gave out thousands of free copies in order to convince them. Then, slowly but surely over the last two years Transformation grew in circulation and reputation, therefore retailers found out that Transformation
really sells.
People actually bought such a weird magazine! Wow! I knew that! But convincing
hundreds of distributors and retailers was a hard road, most thought this magazine
was strictly for the adult stores, no way!, I wanted to put out a high class magazine.
And I did!
I bouilt up a 100,000 readership by myself, with no help from any of the big distributors.
Hustler, one of the major men's magazines only sells 395,000 copies.
Now! we've been noticed and for the first time Transformation is in the hands
of one fo the five major distributors, they will try
it and find out if it sells, they're sending copies to all the buyers to test
it out
Please do your part to support TRANSFORMATION with your subscriptions and as I've
said before, I'll do my part to get TRANSFORMATION out to the public for everyone
to see, the more people who read TRANSFORMATION, the easier it will be for all
of us.
