Drunken Rant
Considering how puritanical its Bible Bell is and how tame most of its TV shows
are, America still rules the roost when it comes to porn. When we heard that John
T Bone was organising a gang bang 'play off' to select a new queen for his gang
bang video series, we knew it could only happen in the USA. Not only did Bone
organise the whole thing and then have Jerry Springer feature it on his show,
he also used ordinary blokes as his studs. Yep, normal blokes like you and me
— only fatter — who got to shag top-notch porn sluts just for a laugh.
No money changed hands, the blokes were just there to drain their bollocks. Can
you imagine anything like that happening in Britain? Not a chance. We've had gang
bang world record attempts here, but they've been pretty dreadful, seedy events
thrown by the likes of Vinny Curran.
The porn industry in Britain is just as sleazy now as it was 10 years ago. but
in America. it's a multi-million dollar industry and recognised as such. Even
the threat of HIV and AIDS hasn't put the US industry off, with most performers
now using condoms. Over here and in Europe. you're lucky if half the hard-core
stars have been tested within the last six months.
The fact that Bone can put together a superb fuck-lest and have it covered by
the country's leading talk show host is proof enough that the UK adult industry
is years behind its American counterpart. True, hard-core is legal over there,
but that's not the point. America has the AVHs, FOXE awards and the CES, where
people display their wares. The best we can do is Erotica which, while it might
be bloody good given the country we live in. is still a long way from anything
the Americans can put on. Gang bangs featured on Vanessa anyone? No. I didn't
think so. |
