THE SLEUTHSAYER
"One thing I've learned is that very little that's good in life just happens.
You make it happen," declares Morgan Fairchild {who happens to "make"
page 40 inside}. "So many people let the moments and opportunities slip away.
I was determined that wouldn't happen to me." Same here...
"The public are more and more hungry for personalities, hence more paparazzi,"
explains British tabloid titan David Montgomery. "The bigger the demand,
the more personalities get sucked into it! A lot of it is just going to events
and hoping to catch someone off guard—a typical pap pic is when a famous
girl's top slips a bit. You can justify the paparazzi," Montgomery adds,
"by saying that celebrities earn their living from the public. They want
the publicity, they only survive because of publicity. They can't say when they
want it and when they don't. It goes with the territory."
And it's territory that only CELEBRITY SLEUTH magazine has charted: devoting an
entire issue to famous bloopers in our unique "Hot Flashers" experiment
{V6 N31...which proved such a rousing success! Now we're back with "Take
Two!"—a superstar sequel to that groundbreaking Kandid Kamera of the
Kareless. This time, we present our "accidents {not} waiting to happen"
in nine novel categories: the transparenttransgressions of "Flimsy Excuses";
southern exposures of "Lip Service"; slipping the Bonds of "Uh-Oh
Seven!"; stylish slipups of "Designing Women"; being privyto "In•Disposed"
intimacies; the party poop of "Just Hangin' Out"; sitting ducks of "Chair-Voyant";
all-time accidents of the "Blooper Hall of Fame"; and less-than model
behavior in "Out of Fashion".
Although a men's mag recently remarked that "it's hard to imagine what Sharon
Stone has leftto show," we find it oh-so-much sexier when there's no "Basic
Intent "As the lady herself swears: "I didn't know I was sexy. I never
thought I was sexy. And I never thought this thing would occur" fit does,
beginning on page 521. But when you take your own path," Stone rolls on,
"there are more risks involved. So much of making it is just having the guts
to stand there till it happens."Here's hoping we pass the gut check...
