If the unsuspecting reader finds this issue of his favorite mag a trifle incoherent
in parts, then he should make allowances for the appalling state (not Ohio) in
which the highly strung editorial team find themselves. So would you if you walked
into your office one morning and discovered that Miss Debbie Sass had just replaced
herself with a computer. You'd wail and moan and hit yourself and cry into a hell
of a lot of large dry martinis too. Don't get us wrong—we like playing with
computers as much as the rest of the idle unemployed, it's just that those hard
metal edges seem to lack the post prandial appeal of a double extra handful of
the little darling's quivering globes. Come back Debbie, all is forgiven and that
bit about not paying you anymore — that was just a joke. Meanwhile it would
be deeply appreciated if any readers out there in Club-land should happen to come
across Miss Sass as it were, would they just hose her down and return her to the
editor. — the editors.
