EDITORIAL NOTE
Well thank you, too ! We trust you will allow us, even a momentary bow in your
direction . . . As the third edition of the spanking new Carnival goes to bed
(much of journalism has a sexual bent, didn't you know that?) we are basking warmly
in the glow of your letters, cards, telegram and telephonic praises. We are naturally
delighted at your approval of our re-energised format and are determined to retain,
and even improve, upon these winning standards; if nothing else, let it be understood,
that we at Carnival are dedicated to keeping it up.
We've even had the odd randy tape or two sent in, directed to the Europrobe and
Never Had It So Good departments of sexual reminiscing. One from a reader's 'lay
wife' (sic) was a short, sharp, two-pronged affair, delighted, so she said 'in
the hard-on male chauvinism' of these nostalgic best lay articles but pushing
for the occasional female response to such hot memoirs. Would we accept hers?
From her precise it sounds a must—pity we cannot print her voice, though.
We await her complete tape ...
We are pleased to welcome, this month, the redoubtable talents of Silas Cree into
our fiction division ; his summer solstice revelry being further enhanced by another
slice of eye-grabbing graphics from Dave Jupe. On the interview bench we have
Alain Delon, superstar film and headline maker and Paris also supplies our cinema
spot: a trip up the French Orals with thigh school students. Virginia Box turns
up in part two of her opening strip adventure and our girls—oh yes, the
girls the readers are rhapsodising so much about—turn on here, there and
everywhere. Bless their little cotton locks.
