Editorial Note
I know all you stargazers out there have been waiting patiently for this latest
volume of CELEBRITY SKIN, and at long last it's here—THE SUPERSTARS OF CELEBRITY
SKIN. It's been over a year, almost two in fact, since we last published a special
volume on all the nude celebrities HIGH SOCIETY has become famous for. Needless
to say, Volumes One through Five are already sold out and have become treasured
collectors' items, so it was time to go back to the drawing board and to our celebrity
archives in order to bring you this all-new and all-revised SUPERSTARS OF CELEBRITY
SKIN. I'm sure you'll agree that the volume in your hands right now is far and
away the biggest and best celebrity special ever published. Every effort was made
to include only the biggest-name celebrities, the people our public has demanded
to see over and over again. And they're all here—celebrities like Raquel
Welch, Farrah Fawcett, Bo Derek, Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Lorff;n, Morgan Fairchild,
Angie Dickinson, Suzanne Somers and, of course, Marilyn Monroe. We've also chosen
each and every photo with you, our reader, in mind. We looked at literally thousands
upon thousands of photographs, but selected only those we felt were the most revealing
and of the highest reproductive quality to ensure that this volume will remain
the definitive collection of celebrity nudes. Of course, a lot has happened since
we last published a celebrity nude special, and this issue will bring you up to
date on all the stars we've most recently uncovered. Included in this volume are
our controversial nudes of Jodie Foster, the pictures that made national headlines
in the trial of John W. Hinckley, the man who attempted to kill President Reagan.
There are also some new additions, people like Goldie Hawn, Barbara Carrera and
TV's Priscilla Barnes, stars who have just come into their own as leading sex
symbols of the Eighties. And for the ladies in the audience, we've also included
a special section on top male celebrities, macho men such as Burt Reynolds, Sylvester
Stallone and Jack Nicholson, all of whom have never before appeared in CELEBRITY
SKIN. All in all, it's a jam-packed issue that was worth the wait. I'd like to
thank the editor, art director, production chief, typographer and photo researcher
who worked so diligently around the clock to put this exciting volume together.
But most of all, I'd like to thank you, the faithful readers of HIGH SOCIETY and
CELEBRITY SKIN, for your to xi support over the years. Without you, none of this
would have been 'ssible. Now just sit back, relax and enjoy ... this book's for
you!
