EDITORIAL NOTE
HELLO, RUMP LOVERS...
...wherever you are! Welcome to the new "editor's page." I've usually
steered clear of these things, preferring a "let's-get-down-to-business-and-that-business-is-beautiful-butts"
approach, and that approach hasn't changed; but since I've been adding new features
to the CHEEKS format, I figured it might come in handy to give you tidbits of
information there isn't any other place for in the magazine.
First, I want to tell you a few facts about our covergirl, Maya Moore. This is
positively her first magazine shoot. Her virgin photo session! You might see her
in other mags soon, but CHEEKS got her first. (Keep this in mind, future collectors
of her layouts.) Connoisseurs will note a real freshness to her maiden voyage.
Maya is one of the most natural models I personally have ever seen. Her ability
to communicate with the lens reminds me of the great Bettie Page in her 50s heyday.
Besides having an absolutely scrumptious derriere that Aphrodite Callipygia herself,
the Greek Goddess of the Beautiful Ass, would envy, Maya's range of expressions
was a joy to behold. She was like a Gil Elvgren pin-up come to life. We planned
the photo session around a classic pin-up theme, a girl in an art studio, and
Maya brought a lot of witty improvisational skill to the shots.
Maya's a versatile young woman. Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y, before modeling
she worked on a construction crew, and actually hopes to go back to that soon.
She's got pretty strong arms, having done some weightlifting, and after the shoot
let me take a squeeze of her feminine but taut biceps while telling about her
green belt in karate and how she can break two boards with her foot! Unlike a
lot of models, Maya hasn't worked as an exotic dancer, although she's done posing
on the Internet—little scenarios such as portraying a cop searching her
suspect, another girl. But you can be sure that whatever she does, and however
her career as a model proceeds, Maya will infuse it with not only beauty but a
sense of humor. Remember, you saw her here first!
There are lots of other great gals in this issue, too, and if you just check out
the gallery on our contents page you'll see what I mean. Before closing, however,
I just want to remind you to continue to write in and tell me what you want to
see. In the past I've gotten some terrific ideas from readers that have inspired
features like our rectal-temperature pictorials and our deep-tunnelshot nurse
theme centerfold of Desire's asshole (and if you're a regular reader, you know
who Desire is; if you're not, just look at the issue Maya's holding). So if you
have a fantasy, a preference, let me know and in a matter of an issue or two it
could be reality, visualized in pictures. I personally have my own favorite type
of bottom, a round, meaty one, so you see a lot of that in these pages; but I
try to include a variety of sizes because there's excitement to be found in different
configurations. Do you want to see some really hefty butts? Some cellulite? How
about tight, almost boyish bottoms? And what do you want to see them being adorned
in? Jeans? Pantyhose? Thongs? A banana split? Let me know! I don't have time to
answer back personally, but I do read every letter. And I will discuss provocative
