EDITORIAL NOTE
Due to the soaring cost of paper, and to the economic situation in general, we
have finally been forced to up our cover price to 50p — something we did
try to avoid as long as possible. However, to compensate for this we've enlarged
the magazine to a bumper 116 pages — which means in effect that you're getting
a book-length magazine plus all the extra benefits of full colour and large format.
On top of which the contents of this issue are enough to make the average reader's
head reel.
The redoubtable Marty Feldman was interviewed for us on the set of his latest
movie, and has some trenchant remarks to make about Hollywood mores. Frank Norman,
best-selling novelist and playwright, takes a nostalgic and racy look back to
his days as a dodgem greaser. Paul Tabori, the well-known novelist, essayist and
screenwriter, explores the hair-raising theatrics of sexual activists. And our
lead fiction is by novelist David-lee-model">David Lee.
