This month's issue of Club International is as packed as any you're likely to
get.
First and foremost come Daniel Farson and George Melly, walking hand in hand through
the very bizarre garden of Mr Melly's extraordinary public and private life. Melly
is, of course, one of the most popular luminaries on the landscape, having started
as a jazz singer and musician, before progressing to journalism, television and
radio. A man renowned for his outspokenness, eccentricity and enormous charm,
his personality has been assessed in brilliant fashion by the equally well-known
Daniel Farson.
An amusing novelty item is our illustrated article on the Identikit Male. Thinking
that it might be interesting to discover what the woman thinks is the perfect
male, we invited Jilly Cooper and other such well-known ladies to offer their
