THE SLEUTHSAYER
"Most good gossip bubbles with an illicit thrill—the possession of
knowledge that's off-limits to polite company," observed Cosmopolitan magazine
in a recent issue. "It's accitingio be the first one to know a secret: we
all want to know who's sleeping with whom, whose breasts are phony, and who's
gay:' Adds a prominent entertainment figure: '1 think the three most irresistible
words in the English language are 'Did you hear' "
We at Sleuth think the three most irresistible words in the Body English language are "Did you see," and thus intend to see to it that our loyal readers are kept up on all the latest developments. Each of the probing questions listed above—concerned with bedroom partners, biologic preferences, and built-in prostheses—are fully covered, and just as fully uncovered, in this 12th installment of our growing body of work, "WOMEN OF FANTASY?'
As the compendium of All-Time Box Office Hits noted: "For many, the escape into pure fantasy is the essence of the cinema's appeal, which is the reason that audiences identify so intensely with the hero's predicaments. It is the triumph of technology, but also with a heart. Man makes contact with aliens from another planet, and audiences renew contact with the concept of cinema as a magical place:'Similarly, we view this issue as an opportunity for you to renew contact with the concept of CELEBRITY SLEUTH as a quot;magical" publication: unique in
today's market for its dedication to providing all the bare facts amidst an astonishing
array of famous figures, presented in a manner that men's magazine expert Al Goldstein
recently termed, "Exhaustingly researched . . . stunningly sophisticated
...an amazing task with plenty to recommend it:'
Those generous comments, along with the contents above, speak for themselves,
so we'll leave the last word to the fantastic Fraulein who so generously graces
pages 84 through 87 of this volume: "I think the world is ready to see women
living out their own heroic fantasies," says Sybil Danning. 'With less violence
and more beauty and sensuality. That's my direction."
Meanwhile, here at Sleuth, we hope our direction remains ever upward ! May the
flesh Be With You!
