First the good news. Elite will be published every month starting with this issue.
More good news... Dick Leider who constantly rubs shoulders with the stars has
come up with an in-depth interview with Dustin Hoffman, one of filmdoms superstars.
Hoffman, somewhat of an elusive type was cornered on the set of his latest movie.
It makes good reading.
Joke: Two men in a public urinal. First man: You were circumcised by that cross-eyed
doctor at the General?" Second man: "That's right! How did you know?"
First man: "Easy, you are pissing on my leg." And that is the basis
of The Unkindest Cut, a humorous article on circumcision by Angelo Parra Jr. This
is the first time that Mr. Parra has appeared in Elite and we hope it is not the
last.
The women in Las Vegas are there for the plucking says Dr. Irwin Ross who contributed
the article The Big Slot. It makes you wonder why people go to 'Vegas to gamble
when the surest bet are the girls.
The Struggles of a Durable Wench by Leonard McGill describes the trials and tribulations
that the world's most erotic novel Fanny Hill had to overcome before it was accepted
by the guardian's of morals in our society. Not a four-letter word appeared in
the novel yet it was banned in all the major countries of the world.
To complement our editorial line-up we included a study on how colors can effect
your sex-life. Paul Brock, who has appeared before in Elite gives forth with startling
insights in the article Color Me Red. Who knows? Maybe your problems are caused
by the color of your suit or the decor of your bedroom.
We hope that we haven't offended any of our publishing brothers with our magazine
Predictions for 1978. After all if we can't laugh at ourselves... who else is
