Do you know why New York is such a wide-open town these days? Why all kinds of
sexual services and activities that arc technically illegal are so freely available,
with virtually no police harassment?
The answer is kiddyporn. The making and selling of sexual books and films involving
very young children has become such a big business that the New York via squad
has no time, men or money to spend on anything else. And they still can't keel:
up with the game, let alone make any headway.
Kiddyporners are everywhere, springing up in big cities and small towns acros
the continent, and they're hard to catch. It's a simple racket to run. All you
need is a child, a camera and the post office. And a soul like the bottom of a
swamp.
There is something wrong, somewhere. When a large chunk of the populace is so
turned off, when men and women who should be happily chasing each other through
the bushes and bars are so frightened that they only feel safe enough to let their
sexuality out with toddlers, then it's time we made some changes in our way of
living.
And it is fear that's at the bottom of the kiddyporn boom. Not decadence or jaded
tastes or anything else that can be made to sound even remotely glamorous. It's
simple, gut-clenching fear of sex. Or fear of women. Or fear of adulthood. Fear.
Children are the ultimate victims. Any adult can thoroughly dominate any child,
no matter what kind of worm that adult appears to his peers. There's no trick
to it. With three times the height and fives times the weight and a child who
has already been taught to fear adults, it's easy. The perfect outlet for anyone
so frightened that visiting a hooker is a social situation beyond his grasp.
Children are the ultimate victims of the pornographers, too. Even a child who
has been bribed or coaxed into no more than posing nude, who hasn't had a hand
laid on her, is being abused. Children are sensitive to the emotions around them.
They don't know about adult sexuality, but they know about guilt and they recognize
and fear an out-of-control grown-up, whether they can verbalize any of it or not.
Subjecting a child to experiences that she doesn't understand and is in no way
ready for leaves emotional scars as real as the physical ones left by a belt buckle.
All of which goes to explain why, despite the occasional reader requests, you
will never see pictures of under-age girls in ELITE. As far as I am concerned,
sexuality is fueled by love and joy and simple pleasure. Degrading myself, the
reader and some innocent moppet has no part in it. None at all.
