EDITORIAL NOTE

WE HAVE A WINNER!
As we enter 1993, we could think of no better way to welcome the New Year than
to reveal your pick for 'Girl Next Door of the Year,' the lovely Alexandria!
This year we received a record number of votes for the contest, and I thank all
of you for taking the time to cast your ballots. We conducted an extra-special
photo shoot with Alexandria, and the results, featured in these pages, make for
one of the best layouts Gallery has ever presented.
Alexandria — like 1992 winner Brandi — is from Boise, Idaho. After
seeing Brandi's photos in Gallery, first as a monthly winner and then as the 'GND
of the Year,' Alexandria decided to enter the contest. Now, Idaho is famous for
more than just potatoes.
I realize that not all of you cast your votes for Alexandria, and many of you
may feel that your choice for 'GND of the Year' was the best one. All the exquisite
women who gave their all as Gallery 'GNDs' over the past year and participated
in the contest are indeed worthy. But there could only be one winner. I'm sure
that no matter who you voted for, the layout in this issue will make you look
forward to seeing the pin-up pages of Alexandria in Gallery over the next year.
Enjoy, and please continue to write.
