EDITORIAL NOTE
WE AIM TO PLEASE!
Welcome back, or, if by some chance, this is your first time with us, welcome
aboard. It's actually an interesting question as to how many purchasers are new
readers, and how many buy this publication on a monthly basis. If you had never
bought Leg Action before, what made you pick it up now? And if you're a regular
reader, what qualities make you continue to be a "good customer?"
First of all, I believe that the particular subject matter of this publication
makes for a loyal and continuing readership; whereas a general interest men's
magazine, with your usual assortment of wide-open pussies and steamy prose, seems
more like a casual buy. There are so many "spread" magazines, that you
could literally buy a new one every month for about five years and still not sample
them all! Perhaps something about the cover catches your eye; or an article seems
interesting; or you just like the title. So-called general interest men's magazines
don't seem to spark as much reader loyalty as does a more "specialized"
publication. Enter Leg Action. Due to its unique perspective, either you're interested
in what's inside or you're not. The cover model probably doesn't have as much
to do with you buying the magazine as it would if you were just fishing through
the newsstand, looking for a "pussy" book. Plus, since there are only
a limited number of magazines catering to this particular fetish, your choices
are limited. Life is, therefore, made easier.
Most important, though, is that if you're a "fetishist," or interested
in the subject, you tend to become a real fan of the genre. Once you start buying
a particular magazine, and you like it-if it fulfills your needs, no matter what
they might be-you continue to buy it every month. You don't even look at the cover,
or thumb through the insides (if your newsstand dealer allows you to, that is).
You simply see that it's a new issue, one you don't' have, and you buy it. Just
like when you go to the supermarket and buy a particular brand of cola, because
you now from past experience that it's good and satisfying, so, too, with our
magazine. You know from past efforts that you'll more than likely be satisfied.
You have no such guarantee picking up a general interest "stroke" book.
If you've never bought us before, but suddenly find yourself interested, then
you'll probably compare the leg magazines you find on the newsstand and buy the
one that, at a quick glance, seems the most compelling. Once you've bought one,
like the ubiquitous potato chip, you won't be able to stop. You'll need another
and another and another...That's why we do our damndest to fill the magazine with
what we think you want to see and what you tell us you want to see.
I hope this issue will affirm the words above. It's full of hot and wild material--just
the way you like it. Please, write and let me know if it lives up to advance billing.
What do you like about it, what don't you like. Let me know what you want to see
in this publication, and it'll be here. We expect you to keep on coming back for
a long time. After all, you can't buy just one!
