THE SEAMY SIDE
I've certainly seen my share pass through these pages! And through the pages of
other mags I've edited, too.
I've been in the adult business my entire, well, adult life. I started out in
1974 as a freelance porn writer, learning my craft as I wrote novels, short stories,
interviews, and articles. I became an editor in 1981, and over the years I've
supervised titles such as Partner, Game, Stag, For Adults Only, Swedish Erotica,
Adult Movies, Girls Over 40 (under the name Norbert Bloom), Cheeks, and of course
Leg World. As I've pointed out many times in my editorials here, Leg World has
always been particularly fun since I enjoy and partake in the leg and foot fetishes
myself. It didn't feel like work to spend hours editing all the exciting pictorials
supplied by our talented photographers. One example in this issue is the gem of
a layout we have on our covergirl, Cali Luv, who portrays sexy dominance with
a skill that makes stiffies rise wherever she casts her seductive gaze!
I also enjoy getting letters from all our readers like James, Adam, Mike, JD,
George and Mandy, Robert and others who kindly take the time to send in frank
and entertaining feedback that I print in Solefully Yours and You Confess. You
are the citizens of Leg World!
The other magazine that delighted me as much to edit was Cheeks, which I originated
and oversaw from 1988 to 2005, and which was home to many of the same skilled
lensfolk whom I use in Leg World. As you all know, a beautiful derriere is just
as delightful to worship as pretty polished toes or sleek stockinged stems, and
inspiring such adoration was the mission of Cheeks!
Today, back issues of Leg World, Cheeks, and Girls Over 40 can go for as much
as $30 each on the collector's market! As an aficionado myself of vintage men's
mags going back as far as the 1920s, I edit Leg World to make it as timelessly
entertaining as the great girlie mags of the past. I hope that seventy-five years
from now, the issues concocted by myself and my great longtime art director Luis
Crocodile will still entertain and stimulate fetish fans. Because, of course,
the beauty of the feminine is timeless, and our humble job is to convey it in
all its splendor.
So, gentlemen, as usual, my Seamy Side speechifying can be boiled down into four
happy words: lust after these legs! Simply turn the page...and begin!
