EDITORIAL
Dear Readers,
Well, here we are again. And this time I'm proud to say "We're bloodied but unbowed."
Apparently our last edition caused some seismic reactions below the Bible belt--when the censorship board or whatever--those self-appointed moral guardians down South--determined that a photo was unacceptable and refused to distribute our magazine, unless it wes removed! That picture--a spoof--depicted an older Father-figure seemingly being courted to seduction by his decidedly pre-pubescent progeny.
They contended that this was deplorable because it smacked of probable paedophilic incest.
Such big words! Lighten up, it was a JOKE!
But self-censors always have trouble laughing at themselves--or at us. So we do hope our tribute to Fathers' Day will be better received this month.
What we do know from your cards and letters, not to mention many new subscribers, is that at least our favorite readers will enjoy all our customary macho muscles and new faces and phalluses. But beware if the feds start checking out your own boxes, postal or otherwise. They always are sticking their noses where they don't belong.
