EDITORIAL As I have often stated, I'm sure that one of the reasons for Men Only's meteoric
success over the past couple of years is the fact that we employ the best photographers
: another is that we always find the most attractive girls. This month heralds
another scoop for your favourite magazine — a stunning nude portfolio on
the enchanting Anna Bergman, daughter of film director Ingmar Bergman. Miss Bergman
is certainly a woman of today: sure of her role in life, confident of her own
charm and body, and open-minded on all aspects of modern society. Staff photographer
Amnon Bar-Tur has captured all these facets in a remarkable sequence, which begins
on page 43.
A young man very much in the Ingmar Bergman mould is Michael Winner, fast gaining
the reputation of England's most original film director and the subject of this
issue's Men Only Interview. More is known of Winner's work than the man himself,
a situation certainly remedied via Mike Bygrave's searching questions. See for
yourself on page 40.
Welcome is the return of Jonathan Clements, a once regular contributor to this
magazine but recently most heavily engaged on writing a new novel. Happily, Clements
has lost none of his guile as one of the country's most erotic writers, as a read
of his Diary of a Gigolo will instantly indicate.
Sales for Fiona Richmond's incredible long-playing record Frankly Fiona are rocketing,
but there's still time to buy an advance copy through Men Only by filling in the
form on page 26. With all honesty, I can't remember hearing such a fantastic production,
with Fiona displaying her considerable sexual talents to the full. Do take my
advice and order a copy while stocks last.
Our mail in recent weeks has reached astronomical proportions. Of course, many
are a chronicle of your experiences for our Communication columns, but a good
deal are letters of advice and praise. It appears our bumper Christmas edition
went down very well and our brother publication Club International, with its free
poster magazine insert, was also a tremendous winner. Keep this correspondence
going. It's always a great help to know your likes and dislikes and it's a sure
