EDITORIAL NOTE
If it is remotely possible, this month's Men Only is even classier than ever by
lieu of our star-studded cast list.
Molly Parkin, the effervescent and green-haired author of that deliciously shocking
bestseller, Love; All, was introduced to our readers in last month's issue via
her mind-blowing interview with the equally controversial and shocking Fiona Richmond.
Having used that interview as an introduction, we decided to promptly follow it
with Molly's very individualistic and racy account of her childhood, adolescence
and maturity — and, given Molly's particular attitude to sex, it cannot
fail to make your eyes pop and your libido start rising.
Ted Lewis, the now famous creator of Jack Carter (portrayed by Michael Caine in
the film Get Carter), was originally introduced to our readers through his stunning
saga of violence and sex, Kings, Queens and Pawns, in Men Only Vol. 38, No. 11.
and is back for a second round with his superb trek through Europe. a few deaths,
more than a little intrigue and one very cool blonde. Start reading this and you
won't be able to stop — it is that sort of story. And we hope to be using
the singular talents of Mr Lewis in future issues.
Our interview this month is as close to a unique interview as one can get. Conducted
by the redoubtable Brian O'Hanlon, it presents us with an hilarious and often
scandalous conversation from the Woosterish tongue of Arthur Kattendyke Strange David Archibald Gore,
the Eighth Earl of Arran, late of Balliol, Eton and Oxford, and currently whipping
up interest as `The Outrageous Arran', that most amusing of Evening News columnists.
A very rare interview, this, and one you won't easily forget.
High on the list of more visual treasures is our exotic spread on Menorca. Of
this particular Men Only adventure it might indeed be true to say that the irresistible
force met the immoveable object, the former being our American photographer Fred
Enke, the latter being, once again, Brian O'Hanlon. Both of these gentlemen (neither
of them shy) took a couple of lovely ladies to colourful Menorca where they spent
a week or so pretending to work. No matter — the results. both in prose
and photographs, were worth every Bacardi poured down their throats.
Another pictorial bonus is the first of our new series. Dearest Diary. The saga
of a young lady's trials and tribulations during the Victorian era. it has been
photographed by Bob Carlos Clarke and written up by that famous poet and satirist
Bernard Campion.
Also included is the first of our new comic strip about the amazing Milly Molly;
Fiona Richmond's latest trip; Ann Summers regular column, and a unique look at
the ins and outs of orgies.
Tony Power.
