GARETH EDWARDS HAS just retired from a career which acclaimed him the finest rugger player of all time. We visited him at his home in Wales where he talked frankly about the game, his career, his plans for the future and about the uncomfortable streak of dirty play that has been capturing rugger headlines recently. A man of experience well worth listening to.
Last year we were the first magazine to tell you about clones. This month we pull pheromones out of the bag. These are, quite simply, smells which define sexual attraction and scientists have now isolated them and are able to define their power, control their use. The potential of these new discoveries is immense, from the jolly possibility of turning on the woman you want to the more sinister implications of crowd control.
But some things are eternal - and there's plenty of them inside as well. We examine the way in which big business and call girls of the highest class work, Tym Manley takes a look at the way men make fools of themselves when they are trying to score - and you may be surprised to discover what women really think of men who make idiots of themselves. There's a couple of tasty pieces of fiction and more big news this month is Fiona Richmond's latest novel, her best so far, a gloriously funny story of the virgin who made it big in show-business. We are running extracts and the first begins this month.
You'll like it. And without question you'll like this month's selection of enchanting girls. Let your finger linger on these layouts and sniff summer on its way./Roger Baker.
