A STATEMENT FROM PUBLISHER PAUL RAYMOND
From my early days, women have always played an important part in my life — both on a personal level (thank God!) and a professional one. Take for instance the growth and success of the Raymond Revuebar: even though the lighting, staging and choreography are second to none, it is the fact that we feature the most beautiful
women available that makes it the show it is. The same can be said for my spectaculars
at the Windmill Theatre.
As I'm sure you are aware, I have two of the world's highest selling magazines
in Men Only and Club International. These are high quality publications packed
with interesting items on sport, fashion, humour, comment — and of course
sex: but again, I know, above all, it has been the consistent inclusion of elegant,
seductive and attractive women that has put these magazines where they are today.
And so it will be with Paul Raymond's Model Directory. In my years in showbusiness
and publishing it has been my pleasure to meet some stunning females all over
the world — in revues, auditions, photographic sessions, you name it. Now,
for the first time, I am displaying one hundred of these amazing ladies each month
in this unique magazine. Each photograph has been personally selected by me in
a tribute to the world's women.
It has been, and will continue to be, a difficult task — but, as you can
imagine a highly enjoyable one. I hope you like this new magazine and that it
will become a regular part of your monthly leisure.
