EDITORIAL
Respect is due to you our readers.
Last week New Talent became the most successful men's magazine in Europe. We owe it all to you. However despite this success we don't always have things our own way. We've had a couple of letters this month from 'train spotters' pointing out that one New Talent girl had already appeared in another magazine. Oh dear — what a crime! We'll arrange a mass execution of the art department and burn Ric Porter at the stake. We obviously need to point out that occasionally there is a delay of a few months before a first-time girl appears. Even though we discovered her, this doesn't mean that she can't work until we publish her first ever shots. As you know we distribute details of every girl we find to other magazines, photographers and model agencies all over the world. This means that on the odd occasion one of our girls might appear in another magazine before she actually features in New Talent. Such is the nature of editorial deadlines. So please don't write to me pointing out one mistake out of the hundreds of successful first-time appearances we give you. You will always find more brand new girls in New Talent than any other magazine. If the odd one appears in another magazine it means that they are getting work. And — in case you're forgetting — that is why this magazine published in the first place!
