Paradise's Special Tribute to the Tragic Suicide of One of Our Favorite Porn Stars
On July 12, 1994, a distraught Savannah, star of some of the best XXX films of
the past five years, took a gun to her head and fired what would prove to be one
fatal bullet. Within 24 hours, on July 13th, she was dead. Why did she do it?
Why did this young blonde beauty end such a successful career by taking her own
life? Sadly, Savannah had just been in a car accident and feared that she'd be
disfigured for life.
Said her manager, Nancy Pera, "She called me up at 2:15 a.m. screaming hysterically.
She was afraid she had broken her nose after crashing her Corvette into a neighbor's
fence and tree and smashing her face on the steering wheel. When I got to her
house 20 minutes later, one of the House of Pain guys she had been hanging out
with told me she had shot herself.
"I saw her carried into the ambulance and it looked like there was a large
flower on one side of her face."
In a business where a beautiful face can make you or break you, Savannah reigned
supreme. It must have been shocking and yes, very scary for her to look into a
mirror and see those gorgeous looks marred. She was truly a blonde Venus, a stunning
creature who stood out in an industry where stunning women compete for choice
roles.
In the end, Savannah was her most severe critic, too panicked to think rationally
and think of other options, like plastic surgery. Surely one of the top surgeons
in Beverly Hills could have skillfully repaired any damage that was done.
Apparently, the beauty who had her own demons to deal with (including a background
of childhood abuse) had made it to the top in a relatively short time. On-screen,
she was the white pagan goddess, who didn't do so much wild sex, but relied heavily
on her talent as an actress and her incredibly beautiful face. Off-screen she
dated rockers Slash, David-lee-model">David Lee Roth, Billy Idol, Vince Neil , Danny Boy from the
House of Pain rap group and actor Paulie Shore.
Because she contributed so much to the porn industry and was so beloved by her
fellow actors and associates, as well as her millions of fans, we would like to
honor her memory with this special tribute to a very talented lady.

last film, only recently released, was Summer Boobs.
The death of Savannah is quite a loss to the industry. The porn world doesn't
get a talent like hers very often. Everyone considered her to be especially gifted.
And so we say goodbye, Savannah. While you were with us, you gave so much to so
many—and you had so much to give. You'll be missed by millions and cherished
always by those who truly knew you and loved you. Farewell, sweet, shining lady.
