EDITORIAL NOTE
SWANK TALK
From our ultra-sensuous centerfold to the luscious, live club shoot, this November issue of SWANK is so full of seething surprises, you won't believe your eyes!
If you've been aching for some live action like we have, Canada's Curviest will be a sight for sore... urn, eyes. We lined up the best strip clubs in the Toronto area to bring you fabulous photos of the hottest girls north of the border. SWANK outfitted a photographer and writer for this titillating trip, but with the heat from these wanton women, our crew sure didn't need their long johns!
You may have seen that blond beauty, Stephanie Rage, before, but never like this! Our comely centerfold girl has truly blossomed into a full-fledged fantasy female, and we have the photos to prove it!
We've also been able to sensually squeeze heavenly Hyapatia Lee into this issue, too. Porn's pulsating princess still knows how to get our juices flowing, and boy, does she ever!
On a more serious (but still very sexy) note, we did some raunchy research for Sex Scandal!, a look behind the scenes of political pulp stories. It seems like politics is the only true aphrodesiac, but don't have 'Elect Me' posters printed up just yet—there might be other responsibilities involved.
If you're ready for real high-speed action after that, take a drive with four-wheel-drive Desert Racers—but bring a canteen! During the running of the 'Mint 500' a mechanical breakdown under the sweltering Nevada sun can be a sizzling experience!
There's plenty more in store, too: busty Angela Baron is a saucy showcase, porn's best at the XRCO Awards...the list goes on and on!

About Swank
Swank is a pornographic magazine for heterosexual men published in the United States. It includes hardcore sex, such as the use of sex toys, lesbian sex, and sexual intercourse between men and women.

There are also a series of DVDs and an official website produced under the Swank name.

The Magna Publishing Group bought Swank along with dozens of other pornographic titles, including Stag, in 1993 from Charles "Chip" Goodman, the son of Martin Goodman, founder of Marvel Comics. According to the New York Times, Stag and Swank “can even draw a line to the same pulp publishing outfit—Martin Goodman's Magazine Management Company—that in 1939 started the comic book publisher that eventually became Marvel Comics, and that in the 1950’s and 1960’s employed future novelists like Mario Puzo and Bruce Jay Friedman as writers and editors.”

At the time Magna purchased the magazines from Goodman, the company was known as Swank Publications, and was a part of the GCR Publishing Group, which also published non-pornographic magazines, including such titles as New Body and Victorian Accents.

The Magna Publishing Group's website includes the claim that Swank has been established for "well over 65 years." A magazine called "Swank" was founded by Fox Features Comics founder Victor Fox in the 1940s. This early version of the magazine was a knockoff of Esquire, but eventually evolved to its current format. The magazine has had breaks in publication of several years during its history, so the "over 65 years" claim may be disputed by some media historians.
