Letter from the Editor
I usually don't like to spout off about politics, but I get sOOO pissed off every time I hear all this bullshit about Clinton. Our congress and representatives are sure not getting any real government business done when all they do is spend time on what's the most trivial thing in the world.
Clinton has done more for this country than practically any recent president. The economy is the best it's been in 20 years or more; and you as a person - TV, crossdresser, she-male, gay, straight, etc...have more rights than ever before with Clinton in office.
When the Republicans were in office, me as a publisher was harassed constantly. I had to fight Reagan's Meese Commission, the Vice, the FBI, all because the Republicans are backed by people like Falwell and the far right religious groups who think we should not exist, or be jailed, or shot. I've heard that it's Falwell - I'm sure most of you know who Falwell is...he's the one that backed Reagan, he's the one who leaches on the stupid and the elderly by telling them if they send money to him he'll send them a prayer. (like a prayer from him will get them into heaven!). I hear he is the one who's pushing Star because the rest of my editorial would be full of cuss words. He is a jealous far-right @*&#^$%$!!!
Can you believe that they're discussing putting Reagan on Mount Rushmore. This would be a disgrace to our entire country. In my opinion he was the worst president we ever had and I think he had Alzheimer's disease 30 years before he took office. He fucked up California, then fucked up the country. He was laughing stock throughout the world - especially Europe: and these idiots want to put him on Mount Rushmore!
75% of the country thinks Clinton is doing a good job, yet the Republicans have nothing better to do than go after Clinton. Clinton has done no worse than most of our presidents in his personal life. Practically all our presidents had outside affairs. All Clinton did was get a blow job. I will say one thing against Clinton - he could have picked someone decent to get his blow job from.
I talk to my distributors all over the world, practically every free country. We as Americans are a laughing stock because of this stupidity from the Republicans. They say "Don't you Americans have anything to do beside harass Clinton because of a lousy blow job"...and they laugh.
That's his private life - we all expect our lives to be private; so why not his sex life. The only thing the Republicans have on Clinton is that he lied about having sex with Monica...Big deal! ..so would I have lied, and so would you. It's none of anyone's damn business. When Clinton was asked about it, he should have said... "None of your damn business!-
A blow job has nothing what-so-ever to do with how the government is handled. Clinton is doing a good job running the country: Do you realize the stupidity of all of this? An impeachment trial because of a blow job! What's this country coming to! How humiliating to us and to our country! How hypocritical!
We, finally are starting to be free and recognized for who we are - we are not harassed like we used to be. We can go in public dressed and most people accept us for who we are...all since Clinton. I can publish and have a magazine like TRANSFORMATION on the national news stands without being harassed by the Vice, the FBI, or the Meese Commission. You can dress as you want and be who you want.
We have to stop these far right assholes and far right religious groups from getting into office because they'll take back all that we have gained. Next time vote Democratic to show them what a backlash they have caused.
I'm sorry I had to spout off in this editorial - but I know what freedom is, and how I and you were harassed during the Republican administrations. Now we have some freedom. I don't want it taken away. If a blow job can cause all this stupidity, imagine what will happen to us if these people have their way and get into office...you'll have people like Falwell and Star telling you what you can and cannot do.
I, myself, was a registered Republican for many years. That didn't mean I voted Republican. I voted for who I thought would be best. I even voted for Nixon; but when Reagan ruined California I changed to Democrat to show my disgust with what they were doing and especially when they got support from the far right religious groups. I'm sure not the smartest person in the world, but I do know when my freedom is in jeopardy.
