Barbara Anne Constable was born in London, England. Constable grew up as a professional dancer in Australia and studied at the Queensland Dance School of Excellence from 1983 to 1984. After suffering a leg injury, Barbara Anne wound up in Hong Kong where she got involved in modeling and fashion reporting. A chance audition for an Indonesian film company led to Constable being cast as the titular lethal and unstoppable character in the gloriously outrageous exploitation camp classic Lady Terminator (1989). (Besides playing the main character, Barbara Anne also performed her own stunts in the movie.) In the wake of her lone foray into film acting, Constable went on to become a fashion and beauty editor as well as an in-house writer for Eve magazine. The mother of two children, Barbara Anne now lives in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Barbara was a November Pet of the Month in the Australian edition of Penthouse magazine at the age of 19.
