I just came back from Videocame Show—held in lovelytheEast AtlanticCoast City, New Jersey—and,
as usual, I left with a bad taste in my mouth. No wisecracks, morons.
Sex! Sex! Sex! Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Blah. Blah. Blah. Big fucking deal.
So, why so disenChanted? Who the hell knows.
Maybe it was the hordes of gawkers from the "Straight World" who, at
any other time in their lives would be calling these porn stars "whores",
but now grovel before their open-toed stilleto-clad feet for an autograph.
Maybe it was the daily hike to the convention center. Or maybe it was the crappy
casino food, or the endless industry conversations, or the tight slot machines,
or the lugging around of a briefcase full of magazines, or the midnight brawls,
or...
I should shut up, right. Most people would give their left "something"
for a chance to spend 72 hours with the industry's top porn talent.
Three days of the prettiest sex stars dashing and flashing all over the convention
floor and two nights of rockin' parties and far-out Zsa Zsa swingles.
But the success of one's life isn't measured by the number of bare boobs and booties
you catch a glimpse of. Or is it?
